Beautiful sparkling, faceted ear plug handmade of black agate stone (Onyx)

The tapered middle of the plug gives an optimal fit in the ear.

Onyx is an opaque to slightly translucent, two-tone black and white layered variety of chalcedony, which is in turn a variety of the mineral quartz. Agate is a similar but much more colorful variety.
The black onyx was one of the most important jewelry and healing stones of antiquity. The Greeks revered the Onyx as a faithful servant in love and the Romans honored the black onyx as a general protective stone.

Jewelry from organic materials (e.g. wood, horn, bone, stone) provide great comfort due to their light weight. As opposed to piercing jewelry from artificial materials or metals the development of odors while wearing them is greatly reduced. This article is available in different sizes and as custom-made oversize product. When used properly the jewelry is harmless but cannot be sterilized.

"Saddle Plugs" are a bit more narrow in the middle. No rubber rings are necessary for fixation and the Plug or Tunnel has a nice fit in the ear lobe.
