Das Mineral Charoit (auch Tscharoit) ist ein selten vorkommendes Kettensilikat aus der Mineralklasse der Silicate. Charoit entwickelt durchscheinende bis undurchsichtige, massige oder faserige Aggregate in violetter und weißer Streifung, wobei die Streifen ineinander verwirbelt sind und mitunter dunkle Einschlüsse enthalten können. Charoit ist als Schmuckstein hoch begehrt. Es besteht Verwechslungsmöglichkeit mit Amethyst.


 

Sattel-Plugs ("Saddle Plugs") sind in der Mitte etwas schmaler. So werden für einen festen und sicheren Sitz keine zusätzlichen Gummiringe benötigt.

Schmuck aus organischen Materialien (z.B. Holz, Horn und Knochen) bietet durch seine Leichtigkeit besten Tragekomfort und ist geeignet für Allergiker. Im Gegensatz zu Piercingschmuck aus Kunststoffen oder Metallen wird die Geruchsbildung beim Tragen stark herabgesetzt. Bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch ist der Schmuck unbedenklich aber nicht sterilisierbar. Bei regelmäßiger Pflege hast Du lange Freude daran.
