Crocodile wood (Pangal buaya, Zanthoxylum rhetsa)is very suitable for the production of jewelry. It is soft and sturdy, with a beautiful exotic grain. The gnarled spines are reminiscent of crocodile teeth and give the wood the name. Because of the light color it is also called the "ivory of the wood".

Plugs and Tunnels from organic materials (e.g. wood, horn and bone) provides great comfort due to their light weight.
